2024 Kia Seltos: Elevating Compact SUV Standards with Refined Design and Enhanced Performance
The 2024 Seltos embraces a fresh exterior with redesigned front and rear bumpers that house a strong radiator grille, vertical fog lights, and trunk lid garnish.he new headlight and rear combination taillights impart a 'star-map' signature look, making the Seltos as distinctive on the road as its siblings, the Telluride and Sportage. Adding to the palette, two new optional colours, Valais Green and Pluton Blue, are introduced.
Further upping its game, the 2024 Seltos introduces a new X-Line trim. This brings unique design elements including gunmetal coloured radiator/grille, front/rear skid plate, and glossy black applied to the side body moulding and 18" black wheels. The addition of black roof rails also emphasizes the Seltos' rugged appeal.
The interior takes cues from recent Kia launches, the EV6, Niro Sorento, and redesigned Sportage. The extended dashboard configuration showcases a 10.25-inch full LCD cluster and a panoramic 10.25-inch multimedia display. A refreshed centre console layout, modernized air vents, stylish garnish applied to the C/PAD, and an optional Sofino Gentle Brown Leather interior deliver a sleek finish.
Under the hood, the Seltos offers a refined drive with its available 1.6L turbo-GDI engine boosted with an extra 20 hp, bringing the total to 195 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. This pairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission that smoothly translates the increased power, offering a spirited drive experience.
The Seltos' technological suite sees significant enhancements for 2024. Apart from the already impressive features such as head up display, Bose premium sound system, and wireless charging, the new model introduces a power tailgate, Digital Key 2 Touch, and a driver memory seat with two settings.
The 2024 Seltos is equipped with comprehensive Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) including Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Following Assist, Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist, Rear Occupant Alert, and Safe Exit Assist.
The 2024 Kia Seltos is now available in dealerships across Canada, with pricing starting at $25,195 MSRP. The lineup includes LX FWD, LX AWD, EX AWD, EX Premium AWD, SX AWD, and the all-new X-Line AWD, with the highest trim priced at $38,395 MSRP.
